A Legacy Rooted in Passion
Brugge Chocolates was founded in 2010 by Susan Walukiewicz, whose journey with chocolate began as a teenager behind the counter of a small candy shop. After a career at Microsoft, her first love called her back, and she trained under master chocolatiers at the Barry Callebaut Chocolate Academy, where she studied European techniques and flavor philosophies. Her dream was to bring those traditions home to Redmond, creating a shop defined by elegance, authenticity, and joy.
In 2023, a new chapter of the Brugge story began when Clinton Berreth and Brandon Kindle acquired the business—carrying forward Susan’s vision with reverence, innovation, and renewed energy.
